The 21.5 would be good for you unless you are into barspins... then you may prefer a 22" for foot clearance. 135mm

I am running a Hoya Polarizing filter, its the basic one, I paid about $100 for the 77mm version of it.

I really like the filter, I love the colour saturation it gives as well as making the sky look so blue! However, only problem I am having with it is that I loose about 1.5 stops of light, so if its not bright day light out I am having to turn up the ISO to give me fast enough shutter speeds. Other then that I love it because I use three lenses that all have the 77mm filter tread on them! Let me know what you end up getting.

Let me ask you honestly! Do my photos have a lot of unnatural looking colors?

j-brantley wrote
Aug 10, 2009 at 14:55
Yeah i think that is your problem! You need to adjust the manual setting after shooting a few in AV mode! I think most of your shoots or overexposed! You are letting into much light to capture the blue sky! I really recommend to take the extra time to shoot in manual!

j-brantley wrote
Aug 10, 2009 at 14:52
Do you shoot Manual settings?

j-brantley wrote
Aug 10, 2009 at 14:01
Hahahh, not sure! I use lightroom and decrease the luminance in the blue sky, which increases the color and then i use the saturation tool to increase the blue. Alsoin photoshop the shadow/highlight feature works really good! Have u use shawdow/ highlights before?

j-brantley wrote
Aug 10, 2009 at 13:56

Im listing up my double as we speak, so if you can give me a little bit of time to sell her off (hoping for a week or so) than that'd be great! I cant make it to diablo next weekend anyways, so i was planning on getting it the following weekend if that works with you. if thats too much time than i mean feel free to sell it, but if you can hold it all more the better!
